Marketing Generalist

Yes TV is looking for an experienced Marketing Generalist who is highly creative and passionate about our brand and the opportunity to work in a broadcast environment, supporting commercial sales and station promotions. The selected candidate will possess strong graphic design skills which will be a focus of this position.


This position exists to support the development and creation of visual and written marketing and sales support assets, with a strong emphasis on graphic design. Includes creation of print, digital and social media graphics and advertisements.

Reports directly to the Marketing Director with functional relationships with Producers, and Sales Department.

Areas of Responsibility

1.     Design and building graphics assets for promotions, marketing, and advertising campaigns

2.     Support and protecting design language and brand integrity across YES TV communications

3.     Design and building resources for internal and external communications initiatives

4.     Design and building assets for sales support materials

5.     Create graphics, UI, and UX elements for web and digital implementations

6.     Create, scheduling, and posting social content across YES TV brand platforms

7.      Provide support to on-air promotions through video editing, graphic design, and copy writing.

8.      Ensure brand guidelines are met in social media posts

Job Specific Duties

  1. Create promotional, web and social media graphics
  2. Produce graphic design for external advertising, print advertising and client creative
  3. Moderate and update social media channels to encourage conversation and engagement
  4. Engage with audiences through social media channels
  5. Oversee social media contest fulfillment, as they relate to promotional contracts and initiatives
  6. Create content for social media posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram which best represent the tone of YES TV and the programs being aired
  7. Other duties as required

Qualifications And Skills

  • Degree or Diploma, or equivalent proven experience in video production
  • 3+ years’ experience as a designer
  • A proven eye for design
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite of programs
  • Working knowledge of web design (HTML and CSS)
  • Solid understanding of print and web graphics
  • Solid understanding of video editing and production
  • Proven demonstration of understanding and practice of design theory
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with several stakeholders
