This position oversees the flow of media assets from acquisition to broadcast, through the management of the departments responsible for the quality, storage and playout of media assets, ensuring that all requirements related to customer contracts, accessibility regulations and technology standards to achieve our operational, professional and financial goals are met.
YES TV is looking for a Programming Coordinator to execute the daily operations of the programming department in support of three conventional over-the-air broadcast stations, focusing primarily on acquisition, listings and conditions of license management.
As a member of the Technology Team, the Media Technology Solutions Architect, (MTSA), will be key to ensuring the optimal delivery of YES TV technology and to analyze and recommend ideal systems to support our mission. Working across internal teams with diverse requirements, the MTSA will document workflows and processes and will identify opportunities to better leverage existing technologies. Once identified, the MTSA will help lead through the implementation documentation, training and support of new technology.
This position is responsible for the financial accounting between YES TV and its broadcast partner stations including tracking orders, processing amounts due, reconciliations and problem solving,
This position contributes to the organization through the day to day coordination of commercial revenue and related material for YES TV as part of the Traffic team. The traffic team works as a high functioning unit responsible for fulfilling the expectations of the commercial customer, as well as regulatory and organizational requirements. Collectively this team is committed to efficiency and accuracy and believes this can be achieved through hard work, in a fun environment, in support of a Vision that is purposeful and fulfilling. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a team environment and would be favourable to the opportunity to assist in various areas of the department, filling in where needed and therefore assisting with multiple Broadcast Traffic functions. This position is a full time, on-site role in Burlington and is subject to slight changes in working hours during peak seasons to ensure full team coverage between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
